Artificial plants & flowers HS Code description

Product Overview Artificial Plants & Flowers under HS Code 6702 typically refer to intricately designed replicas of natural flora, crafted using a range of non-living materials such as plastics, silks, resins, and other synthetic substances. These products exhibit key characteristics including realistic appearance, durability, and low maintenance requirements, making them an ideal choice for interior and exterior decoration. The HS Code 6702 encompasses a broad range of artificial plant and flower types, further divided into subcategories such as artificial flowers, foliage, fruit, and their parts and articles. Commercially, these artificial flora are predominantly used across various sectors including hospitality, retail, event management, and residential décor due to their long-lasting appeal and cost-effectiveness. Their market positioning is underpinned by their capability to provide a natural aesthetic appeal without the need for regular care, offering a competitive edge over natural alternatives. HS Code Classification & Trade Specifications The artificial plants and flowers fall under the broader HS Code Chapter 67, which is dedicated to "Prepared feathers and down and articles made of feathers or of down; artificial flowers; articles of human hair".
