Product Overview Bedding - Sheets, Linen & Sets under HS Code 6302 refers to the comprehensive range of household textiles intended for use in bedrooms, including but not limited to bed sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, and comforter sets. These bedding items are typically manufactured from a variety of materials, such as cotton, linen, silk, polyester, and blends thereof, showcasing diverse textures, designs, and finishes. The HS Code 6302 further breaks down these items into specific subcategories, including 6302.10 for bed linen, knitted or crocheted, 6302.21 for printed bed linen, and 6302.31 for non-printed bed linen. These products play a significant role in the hospitality, retail, and interior design industries, furnishing comfort, style, and functionality to bedrooms worldwide. Given their wide-ranging material composition, design versatility, and crucial role in everyday life, bedding articles under HS Code 6302 offer a compelling value proposition in the global marketplace. HS Code Classification & Trade Specifications HS Code 6302 follows a hierarchical structure under the Harmonized System, with Chapter 63 covering 'Textiles; other made up articles,' Heading 6302 for 'Bed linen, table linen, toilet linen and kitchen linen,' and detailed Subheadings for specific types of bedding items. This product classification is based on the purpose, material, and manufacturing process of the items, ensuring accurate identification in international trade. For packaging and preservation, these products are usually folded, wrapped in polyethylene, and packed in cartons to protect against moisture, dirt, and damage during shipping. As for quality standards, bedding products should meet the specifications of textile-related ISO standards, such as ISO 3758 for care labelling, and ISO 1833 for composition analysis of textiles. These trade considerations and quality standards ensure that products comply with international trade regulations, facilitating seamless customs clearance and trade operations.
