The Cotton Bag is a sturdy and reusable bag, predominantly made from natural cotton fiber, and often employed in retail, food service, and processing industries for packaging, storage, and transportation purposes. Key characteristics of this product include its robustness, lightweight nature, and its capacity to withstand high levels of stress, making it suitable for heavy-duty usage. The quality attributes encompass its eco-friendly aspects, breathability, and washability. Under HS Code 6305, the Cotton Bag is a subcategory of "Sacks and Bags, of a kind used for the packing of goods". The product's value proposition resides in its sustainability, durability, and its potential for branding, offering a competitive edge in the market. HS Code Classification & Trade Specifications The Cotton Bag aligns with HS Code 6305.32, based on the hierarchical breakdown of the Harmonized System, where the Chapter (63) represents "Other made-up textile articles; sets; worn clothing and worn textile articles; rags", the Heading (05) covers "Sacks and Bags, of a kind used for the packing of goods", and the Subheading (32) pertains to "Flexible intermediate bulk containers". The classification rationale for the Cotton Bag under this code is due to its textile composition and its primary use in packaging goods. Trade considerations include packaging in protective materials to maintain the bag's integrity during transportation, adherence to preservation methods to prevent mildew and damage, and compliance with shipping requirements based on size and weight regulations. The Cotton Bag must meet quality standards such as ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management, ensuring its alignment with World Trade Organization and customs documentation standards. This precise technical description facilitates customs classification and supports the needs of trade documentation.
