Product Overview The Grease Gun, classified under the Harmonized System (HS) Code 8205, is an essential tool used to apply lubricant through an aperture to a specific point, usually on a grease fitting. It is designed to deliver lubricant under pressure for the efficient maintenance of various machinery. The standard features of the product include a high-quality alloy steel body, adjustable pressure output, and a flexible or rigid delivery tube. Within the HS Code 8205, the Grease Gun is identified under the subcategory of "Hand tools (including glaziers' diamonds), not elsewhere specified or included; blow lamps; vices; clamps and the like, other than accessories for and parts of, machine tools; anvils; portable forges; hand or pedal-operated grinding wheels with frameworks." Commercially, it is utilized extensively in the automotive, manufacturing, food service, and retail industries for equipment maintenance. The Grease Gun stands out in the market due to its durability, high performance, and ease of use. HS Code Classification & Trade Specifications Grease Gun's full 6-digit HS Code is 8205.59, which is broken down hierarchically into Chapter 82 (Tools, implements, cutlery, spoons, and forks, of base metal; parts thereof, of base metal), Heading 05 (Hand tools and similar articles), and Subheading 59 (Other hand tools, and similar articles). Its classification under this specific code is due to its design and primary function as a manual tool for applying lubricant.
