Product Overview Lighting - Light Fixtures under HS Code 9405 refer to a variety of luminary equipment designed to hold and control artificial light sources. The product's key characteristics include physical specifications such as size, shape, and weight, as well as quality attributes such as light output, efficiency, and durability. They are processed to various levels, ranging from simple light holders to intricate, decorative fixtures. Under HS Code 9405, Light Fixtures are grouped into subcategories, including those specifically designed for ceiling or wall mounting, illuminated signs, lighting sets, and portable lamps. Commercially, these fixtures are vital in various sectors such as food service where they enhance aesthetic appeal, retail where they contribute to product visibility, and processing industries where they aid in operations. The value proposition and competitive advantage of these Light Fixtures lie in their diverse design options, energy efficiency, and adaptability to different light sources. HS Code Classification & Trade Specifications HS Code 9405 is structured under Chapter 94 (Furniture; Bedding, mattresses, mattress supports, cushions and similar stuffed furnishings; lamps and lighting fittings, not elsewhere specified or included; illuminated signs, illuminated nameplates and the like; prefabricated buildings).
