Azerbaijan's 2024 exports are heavily dominated by the energy sector. Petroleum crude oil ($14.4B) and natural gas ($8.4B) constitute the vast majority of trade value. Secondary exports include petroleum ether and gold and silver, while agricultural products like raw cotton and tomatoes maintain a smaller but notable presence in the top ten commodity list.

Italy is the dominant export destination, accounting for 50.74% of the total market share. Turkey follows with 17.79%, while Russia and Czechia each hold approximately 5%. This data highlights a significant trade concentration within the Mediterranean and European regions, with Italy serving as the primary gateway for Azerbaijani goods.

High-growth opportunities are emerging in Eastern Europe. Czechia leads with a remarkable 59.08% growth rate, followed by Croatia at 47.93% and Bulgaria at 41.73%. These figures suggest a rapid deepening of trade relationships with these specific European Union members, signaling successful market diversification efforts.
