China remains the dominant trade partner for New Zealand, accounting for 36.05% of export value at $10.65 billion. The United States (18.24%) and Australia (18.02%) represent the next tier of critical markets. Combined, these top three destinations represent over 72% of total exports, indicating significant market concentration in the Asia-Pacific and North American regions.

The United Kingdom emerged as the fastest-growing major market with a significant 18.36% increase in export value. Malaysia also showed strong momentum at 14.29% growth. While the United States is a mature market, its 7.24% growth rate reinforces its position as a primary expansion target for New Zealand's high-value goods.
